Maclin Electronics, Inc. was established
in 1963. During its early years,
its main products were portable
transistors made of wooden cabinets.
In the early seventies, the company
ventured into radiophonos wherein
its group of local technicians
designed and crafted the products.
Still, all products were made
of wooden cabinets.
By mid-seventies, Maclin Electronics,
Inc. invested into its plastic
injection department and that
started the development of products
made of plastics. Other products
were introduced like radio cassette
and electric fans.
The research and development of
the company are all done by a
group of ingenuous local engineers
and technicians who had mastered
their skills to design products
suitable for the local market.
By the early nineties, Maclin
Electronics, Inc. started to produce
mini-components, karaoke sound
systems and other electronic appliances.
These are marketed under the brand
names of MACLIN and PROMAC. Also
included were Black & White
and Colored TV sets in the late
nineties.
Today, we have developed new and
innovative designs for our DVD,
VCD, Electric fans, Exhaust fans,
Speaker systems, Karaoke, Portable
Radios, Household Appliances and
Televisions under the PROMAC brand
and we're improving it to meet
the requirements of our present
and future customers.
